Pharmacy Ownership: Generational Change
Medici Capital recently published an article on their website that discusses a number of issues regarding the generational change of pharmacy ownership. Industry evidence suggests that the average owner of a pharmacy is between 50 and 60 years of age with a significant portion skewed towards the more mature generations. Given this, many pharmacies will change hands in the coming years resulting in a generational transisition of pharmacy ownership.
