Practice4Sale.com.au is supported by the Pharmacy Guild of Austalia - the Guild has signed an agreement with practice4sale which involves both parties working together to assist the buying and selling of pharmacies and succession planning.
The Website has been in development for 12 months and works on a password-enabled basis. The site enables pharmacists to search for practices right across Australia, 24-hours a day using selected criteria based on size, location and type.
At the launch, Chairman of practice4sale, Frank Sirianni, said: "One of the reasons the Guild supports the Website business is in the interests of improving market access. The service will also enhance access to succession planning and encourages younger pharmacists to join the profession as owners."
Guild President John Bronger said "Practice4sale will connect buyers and sellers quickly and effectively. In addition, for the first time we have an efficient method to buy and sell partnerships. The Guild endorses practice4sale services and looks forward to working together to create improved value for members through beter market access and transparency as well as addressing difficulties faced by both buyers and sellers, particularly for smaller pharmacies and rural communities."
Mr Sirianni said that negotiations and tansactions would be completed in the normal manner through licensed brokers and/or accountants or legal advisers.
And, as an introductory offer, all listings and subscriptions are free.
