Changes to Stamp Duty in NSW for Sale of Business Deferred

  • By Practice4Sale Staff Writers
The NSW State Government had planned to abolish mortgage duty on business transaction by July 1, 2012. However, at yesterday's budget announcement this has now been deferred until 2013. If you're buying or selling a business in NSW, it is important that you speak to your solicitor and/or adviser about how the changes are likely to impact you.
